Before your tripWe recommend you to make a “trial build-up” of your tent. It might be useful to procure tool accessories like earth nails, rubber hammer, a repair set or a tarpaulin to avoid that the tent ground gets dirty or damaged.Setting up the tentWhen choosing the place where you want to build up your tent, please take note of the following facts: Ground – take away stones and branches, avoid declivities, since water may accumulate. Position of the sun – if possible, the tent should be placed in the shade at noon to avoid too much heat in the tent´s interior. Wind – the entry should be directed opposite to the wind direction. When campingPlease consider the precautionary measures against fire. Keep the ventilation holes open to avoid accumulation of condensation water. If you stay longer, you should tighten the guy ropes several times. Insect sprays should not be used near the tent, since the tent material might be damaged. After campingWhen taking down the Tents, it should always be clean and dry to avoid damages from corrosion and rottenness. For the same reason, the tent should be stored in a dry room. Smaller damages can be removed with a repair set. After long use, the outer tent and eventually also the tent floor should be treated with an impregnation spray (please contact the shop where you bought the tent). Leaking spots at the seams should be sealed with a seam sealer from the inside. Zippers can be moved easier if you rub them with candle wax.
