So you’ve read more than enough registry repair reviews and have decided to download a registry cleaner, problem is, you don’t know where to get a clean and full download. The concept of downloading a cleaner recommended by most online registry cleaner reviews is simple enough. It should go just like any other download should: you just transfer the EXE file from a site, save it in your hard drive and install its contents. But with all the bogus and dishonest sites that offer free downloads out there, it’s almost like finding a needle in a haystack, isn’t it?

True, some sources of downloads come with virus infections and other spyware you wouldn’t want in your system. There are a boatload of other unwanted programs or files that can come with a download from just any source, so to avoid the danger and hassle you should download only from trustworthy sites. Usually the large, popular sites like download.com, softpedia.com or cnet offer honest and reliable downloads without add-on headaches. If you find sites of these caliber and reputation offering a download of the registry cleaner you’re after, then you’re pretty sure of a good deal. But just to be doubly sure, check for user reviews of the site itself. Checking these ensure that others have successfully used the site and got good results. If you see a lot of reviews and comments from users that also means a lot of other people use the site. If the site were intent on doing harm to other people’s computer or bent on invading their privacy, they wouldn’t have too many patrons.

And of course, if online registry repair are responsible for leading you to a download site, it’s best to be sure of the credibility of the review. Usually reviews allow for comments from readers. Also be familiar with the reputation of the site where you read the review. This ensures that you get not only reliable download sources, but also reliable software.
