In the not so distant past, most individuals did not own a cell phone at all. These devices were seen as tools for cetain types of people–surgeons, repairmen, etc. The average person simply used a home phone for most calls or a pay phone if they were away from their residence. Most all of the models have the capability and the results are fabulous for the cell phone owner and others. Not only does one have the ability to snap a picture at almost any time and at any place, the quality of the result is just wonderful.
As far as being user-friendly to text and perform other needed functions, again Verizon phones are the leaders in this arena. Almost every model has the ability to connect to the internet and many of these also have touch screen capability where one can simply use a stylus or their finger to navigate around. Additionally, most are Bluetooth capable so files can be transferred to other Bluetooth devices without the hassles of wires, etc. Many of the keyboards resemble that of a home or personal computer as well so one can use the phone and type with familiarity.
